AJ Auxerre

The Association de la Jeunesse Auxerroise, known as AJ Auxerre, was founded in 1905 in the Burgundian city of Auxerre and plays its home matches at the Stade de l'Abbé-Deschamps, which holds around 18,500 spectators. The club's colours are blue and white. Auxerre spent many years in the French Ligue 1 and became internationally known in particular during the 1990s under coach Guy Roux, including winning the league title in 1996 and several Coupe de France titles.
